Thinking of heading to Arches National Park in the morning..., whaddya think? Anyone been there?

DeleteI liked the city of Moab. Arches like most National Parks has a longgggg driving route with scenic pullouts, I did not have an RV at the time, not sure about camping in the park. Have you considered volunteering or workamping, there are some places where you don't have to have an RV. Some places have dorms rooms or small cabins for the workers to stay in. Or maybe you are still in traveling mode and not ready to stay in one place for awhile.
ReplyDeleteYes and after I checked the weather, I decided to go to Ouray and on down to Durango... O M G ..... I don't have the adjectives to describe the awesomness....
Deleteand yeah.... I'm still in traveling mode... it helps the emotional part of my journey. staying too long in one place ... and the stuff starts creeping back... bah humbug... lol
Don't stay at the Super 8 in Moab, terrible place.
ReplyDeleteThere is a very nice campground up in the park, and another along the river road just outside of town. There are others, but I'm not as familiar with them. I, too, like Moab. I've spent a great deal of time in that area and if you like red rock, it's the place to be.
